About Ojai
Often referred to as Shangri-La, Ojai is nestled in a valley 15 minutes northeast of Ventura and 45 minutes southeast of Santa Barbara. The City of Ojai is the smallest incorporated city in Ventura County, with a population of 8,200 and is part of the Ojai Valley, which has a population of 29,000. Ojai is known for the globally-renowned Ojai Music Festival, the century-old Ojai Tennis Tournament, the five-star Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, multiple top-tier prep schools, a million acres of national forest on its borders, the Haas Avocado, Pixie Tangerines and more.
Getting Here
From Los Angeles: Highway 101 North, exit Highway 33 Ojai, after six miles the highway turns into a two-lane road. Follow that seven miles into downtown Ojai.
From Central/Northern California: Highway 101 South, exit 84 Highway 150 Ojai for sixteen miles, left at CA-150/CA-33/N Ventura Ave, follow Highway 150 about four miles into downtown Ojai.
From Inland Empire: Highway 210 West, Highway 5 North, Highway 126 West for twenty-eight miles, exit 10th Street – Santa Paula for 14 miles, travel through Upper Ojai and down into the Ojai Valley – road comes into downtown Ojai.

east end of the Ojai Valley – from downtown Ojai, go two miles east on Ojai Ave. At Boccali’s Italian Restaurant, the highway curves to the right. Instead, take a soft left at the restaurant onto Reeves Rd. Follow Reeves all the way until you reach the driveway for Meditation Mount, about a mile and a half.
